Through blogging I realize what a viable part of our family history I am putting together. I talk about my experiences as a woman, wife & mother so I feel that it’s only natural that I introduce you to my beautiful family.
Benjamin (Since 2004)
This is my masculine, husband. He’s my friend, my soul mate, and the best father any little kid could ask for. He’s been my pastor for the past 14 years, and I can’t imagine my life without him. We’ve definitely hit some rough patches in our marriage…things aren’t always perfect and we’ve been on the receiving end of God’s grace more than once. And, i’m happy to let you know that His Grace is sufficient…
We’ve had some ups and downs in the thirteen years we’ve been married, but God is good and through it all, he’s reminded us time and time again that He can heal all things. There’s no one else I’d rather spend my days with and have to raise our children with.
Kedibone (Since 1994) With us since 2016
My “Adult child”. The big sister that my kids never knew they needed. When she joined our family I never knew she would be so loved and appreciated by all of us. Reminding me that we have been adopted into the family of Christ not by good works that we did but all by Grace. I didn’t carry her in my womb, but I carry her in my heart all day.
Judah (Since 2009)
Our first born… the precious gift who made us parents. He’s a free-spirited, gentle soul with a confident personality. He has taught me about understanding and unconditional love. He’s a boy through and through. He’s a lover of all sports and mud and musical instruments and I’m certain he’ll be some sort of musician someday, unless he becomes a doctor like he says he wants to be.
Tehila (Since 2013)
The second born that I always knew my heart needed. Our rambunctious and giggly three year old love. Full of fire, she’s a Warrior princess indeed. One thing is certain, she doesn’t act like a girl, and she has broken all the rules in the parenting books. 😀 Curious and always asking questions but one thing is for sure, she’s a joy for our whole family.
I thank our Lord and Saviour for the Honour and priviledge that we have as a family to serve Him.
